Hey, welcome to our newly formed alliance forums !
Here are some questions that some of u might be intrested to know the answer.
Q: What is this alliance ?
A: Our alliance is a pack of guilds which share the same point of view to the game (small, social & casual) which do not want/can't expand their guild but still want to expirence high end game raid contect.
Via this alliance we can all make a progress there, without sacrifing our way we chose to play the game.
Q: So is this some kind of merge ?
A: No, we all stay in our guilds, we just join forces when we raid etc.
Q: If my guild will join this alliance, does it mean we'll have to do everything with it, not being able to do stuff on our own ?
A: Not at all, if your guild decide to do stuff on it's own than it's cool. if u will need help, u'll always have some where to get more ppl.
However we will try to motivate the guilds to work togther, that's the idea of an alliance right ?
Q: So lets say i'm in the alliance and my guild went to raid by itself to a 10 man instance, does it effect our dkp we got in the alliance ?
A: No, a private guild run carries it's own rules and does not have a relation to the alliance dkp nor it's rules.
Q: So how can i tell the diffrence between a private guild raid and an alliance raid ?
A: Alliance raid is a raid which is appearing on the raid planner, that raid is planned by an alliance officer and at the same raid there are ppl from diffrent guilds.
Private guild raid will not be displayed at a raid planner and it will be planned by that guild's officers and most likely in that raid there will be only members from 1 guild.
Q: What about raiding rules, when i'm a part of this alliance do i have to be on a certain spec ? farming for pots ? how many raids do i have to attend to ?
A: No such rules exsist in the alliance. We do not force anything from our members.
But, if the guild u'r in requires you such things (though i highly doubt that) than it's another story
As for rules inside a raid, we will use DKP system and ask from members to log on teamspeak/ventrilo, for more information check our raid rules.
Q: So how this is going to work excatly ? how we gonna raid togther and form raids ?
A: The plan is simple. We using a raid planner. In the raid planner, the officers of the alliance (at least 1 officer in each guild btw) will be able to announce events.
Those events can be 10 man raid, 25 man raid, outdoor boss, PvP, an attument quest chain farm or even a party to an instance, pretty much whatever u want (rules about creating an event will be discussed with officers).
In the comments to the raid, u'll see exactly who will be leading the raid, where u should meet etc
Than, ppl will be able to sign to whatever event they wish,
If there are too many ppl signed for event, u can either solve it by the need of classes, deals or rolls.
Q: Is the alliance using dkp system ?
A: Yes, to only 25 man instances. The system we use is DKP+2, info about the system can be found on forums.
Q: If i'm making an event which is not a raid (for example: normal instance, attument chain quest) do i have to use the rules which we using on a raid ?
A: No, rules for raids are meant only for high end game raid contect, so if u going to 5 man party etc do what u want
